Director: Gary Fleder

Starring: Vincent D’Onofrio, Gary Sinese, Tony Shalhoub,

Madelaine Stone, Mekhi Phifer, Tim Guinee

Genre: action, suspense, sci fi

PLOT: Gary Sinise stars as Spencer Olham, a weapons expert in 2079 who finds himself accused of being an alien. He is hunted down by Major Hathaway (Vincent D'Onofrio). He receives help from an underground leader (Mekhi Pipher), and upon returning to the city, he must convince his wife, Maya (Madeleine Stowe), and his best friend, Nelson (Tony Shalhoub), that he is the real Spencer Oldham

My Opinion: I enjoyed this fast paced; Keep them guessing film which has us questioning the validity of our own judgments. The performances of all the main characters were excellent and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Portrayal of a hard nosed investigator novel and entertaining though I personally would have liked to see a bit more of him. My only complaint was that some of the scenes were shot with very little light and I wanted to shine a torch on them to get a better look.

It was a good film, not a bit like I'd expected. I do agree about the lack of light - so many programmes on TV suffer from that too, like CSI and the old X-Files.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw this.Got a pleasant surprise :-)

I loved the twist at the end too...really was a surprise and not many films achieve that.

Obviously needed more Vincent, but apart from that, great

I liked this film too....it kept me very interested. Hathaway was so cute; the goatee was adorable. At first I thought, "another bad boy" but then I realized the necessity of his relentlessness.

I loved the way he marched through the corridors, his coat swishing with every step; the masterful, powerful stance he adopted. Pure Dream Fodder

However, as for the movie, an interesting one; one I managed to watch with mother who can't stand vdo, but who love's sci-fi. Oh and she loved The 13th Floor too.

I see you share the same complaint that I do about lack of light; I moaned about it just now on your 13th floor review too.

However, I don't believe this is one of vdo's masterpieces, but not a bad little film in itself.
